After serving in the Revenue Administration, Ertürk BARLAS was appointed as Financial Counselor at the Permanent Delegation of Turkey to the OECD in Paris. During his tenure, he served on the OECD Committee on Fiscal Affairs, OECD Budget Committee, and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), gaining extensive experience in international taxation.

He has also served as a member of the Turkish Tax Council and as an Exam Board Member for the CPA and Sworn CPA qualification exams organized by TÜRMOB.
